How to get back lost pictures?

Accidental picture lost may be the most frustrating thing to picture players. Pictures stored in computer hard disk, portable hard disk or other storage devices are all easily to be lost due to different reasons, such as accidental deletion and formatting, computer crash, virus attack, etc. I can frequently see people asking "how to get back lost pictures" in forums.

I always remind people not to use the hard dick which has lost pictures anymore until they get back lost pictures, especially when you just accidentally deleted them. Because deletion simply erase your pictures from the file list but the pictures themselves are still there. As long as their space is not overwritten by other files, you will have a great chance to get back the lost pictures.

So now, first, find a good recovery tool. I'm using Wondershare Photo Recovery. You can download and install the free version of Wondershare Photo Recovery. Remember not to install it on the disk from which you want to get back lost pictures.

Second, start Wondershare Photo Recovery, select the disk from which you want to get back lost pictures and click "Next".

Third, after the automatic scan finished, choose the photos you want to get back from the recoverable photo list and click "Next".

Fourth, select a folder to store the recovered photos. Click "Next" and the photos would be recovered successfully.
