First, download and install the free version of Wondershare Photo Recovery. Remember not to install it on the drive on which you want to retrieve your lost pictures.

Second, start Wondershare Photo Recovery, select the hard drive you want to recover after formatting and click "Next".

Third, after the automatic scan finished, choose the photos you want to recover from the recoverable photo list and click "Next".
