Quick Start with Wondershare Data Recovery
You've got data lost and files deleted, and you want to rescue your data, restore files by Wondershare Data Recovery as quickly as possible now. So please read the below instructions.
Click one of the 4 options according to your needs.
Deleted Recovery – Recover Deleted Files
Step 1: Select a folder to recover deleted files
Open the data recovery tool, and then select the partition or directory that files deleted or data lost, and then click Next to start data recovery.
Step 2: Found deleted files
Select the files that you want to recover, and then click Next to continue data recovery.
Here you can see a list of recoverable files that Data Recovery found. Select the files or folders to continue file recovery process.
Note: The files that deleted by emptying the recycle bin will be listed in RECYCLER folder in the "Found Files List" window.
Step 3: Select Path for Recovered Deleted Files
Select or enter a directory to store the recovered files.
We highly suggest you not select a directory where we searched data in case it would eventually overwrite the source data.
Note: The deleted files will be recovered with its original directory - It is convenient to recognize the file better.
Format Recovery - Recover Lost Data from Formatted Devices
Step 1: Select a disk to recover formatted files
Open the data recovery tool and click the Format Recovery option, and then select the partition or mobile device that files deleted or data lost by formatting, and click Next to start data recovery.
Step 2: Found formatted files
Select the files that you want to recover, and then click Next to continue data recovery.
Here you can see a list of recoverable files that Data Recovery found from formatted devices. Select the files or folders to continue data recovery process by this best data recovery tool.
Step 3: Select path for recovered data
Select or enter a directory to store the recovered data.
We highly suggest you not select a directory where we searched data, in case it would eventually overwrite the source data.
Raw Recovery - Deep Scan and Data Recovery
Step 1: Select the partition for the deleted files
Select the partition or mobile device that files deleted or data lost by formatting, and click Next to start data recovery.
Step 2: Preview image files
Select the files that you want to recover, and then click Next to continue.
Here you can preview image files in the list of recoverable files that Data Recovery found. Select the files or folders to continue raw recovery process.
Step 3: Select path for data recovery
Select or enter a directory to store the files.
We highly suggest you not select a directory where we searched data, in case it would eventually overwrite the source data.
Note: After the data recovery, you will get a data recovery report containing the details of UnFormat.
Partition Recovery
Steps to recover partition by Partition Recovery:
Partition Table Backup
To prevent misoperation or virus from damaging the partition table information, you should backup the partition table every time when you re-partition a hard disk.
Step 1. Select a hard disk and click the Back Up Partition Table button.
Step 2. Select a safe location to save the backup file.
Note: We suggest you put the backup file to some removable storage devices such as a USB drive, memory card or other writable media.
Partition Table Restore
If all partitions of a hard disk are missing, you can use Partition Table Restore to restore the backup file to the hard disk.
Step 1. Select the target hard disk and click the Restore Partition Table button.
Step 2. Select the backup file that you made from the target hard disk.
Note: It is very important that you should restore the backup file that is most recently backup from the target hard disk. If the backup file is not created from the target hard disk, the result will be unpredictable.
Only the matched backup file will be restore to the target hard disk.
Partition Table Recovery
Partition Table Recovery is used to partition table of hard disk, in case that the partition table has been damaged and no any backup available.
Partition Table Recovery will determine the partition layout on the hard disk by scanning the entire disk. By gathering information, the program tries to re-create the partition table so that the partitions of the target hard disk can be shown in My Computer again.
Note: If the partition is normal, Data Recovery will take no action.
